Constanzo is definitely more review oriented, the general physiology book has some depth, but not to the level of Guyton. I've never heard of Boron before, but just looking it up on amazon seems like it is very, very dense, probably not good as an introductory text. Emergence is an important new concept in artificial intelligence, information theory, digital technology, economics, climate studies, material science and biometric engineering.
